This One's for Ryberg!
July 9, 2006 8:09 PM
lright, this is (finally) the second of the two "big" projects I've been promising you, the first being the Big Move.
Ladies and gentlement, it is with great enthusiasm that I am proud to unveil the latest work by The Lovers of Sight and Sound (i.e., me). I hope you'll recognize it.
Download the .mp3 (8.5mb) here. (Right click and select "Save Target As" or equivalent.) Let me know what you think.
For some reason, there's a lot of silence at the end. I'll fix it and upload a new version without that silence, but I don't have time to do that right now.

First of all, much praise for having the guts to post this. I mean, wow; that takes nerve.
Second, the quality of this recording is phenomenal. It's better than anything I've put together.
And finally, this is awesome. When I saw the file name, I figured it would be the screaming rendition we've all gotten on our voicemial. Instead it was a genius re-working. I think this is the first time I've ever paid attention to the story. And I like how sad it is your way. Bravo.
You did a great job!
Both Adelina and I commend you on this awesome piece of work. Good show.
It is exciting, not just for you. The sound is great. It really is a clever idea to strip this anthem of the hair and the metal.
I think I still prefer my Bon Jovi songs performed awesomely badly. It's just too good for that. Keep rocking!
REALLY cool. I've been waiting for this for a while :)
I thought the guitar was especially awesome. I will DEFINITELY be a groupie - especially when you become rich and famous and Smashing Pumpkins has to open for you!!
