Man, Wisconsin Kicks Ass

s the little header to this post indicates, today is April 11. About a month ago, we had a gorgeous spring day--it was about 80 degrees, there wasn't a cloud in the sky, there was a slight breeze. In short, it was an awesome day, and we all declared the arrival of spring. And, although I guess I was ready for spring, I was sad to see winter, my favorite season, go.

Then, of course, I spent last week in Florida, where it was 84 and sunny every single day. Which, again, was awesome, but I don't know if I was ready to be completely done with the cold weather for the year.

Lucky for me, then, that Wisconsin really pulled through. It is currently 33 degrees outside, and it's snowing like a motherfucker. This is a wacky-ass state.

Goddammit Ismael. I know you love the snow and everything, but this is just delaying the inevitable and the awesome: grilling brats. PH and I were totally going to grill out one night the week before spring break, but it fell through for various reasons. Now you, me, and everyone else who loves brats must wait at least a couple more weeks.
