So, like, do you mean you want a recording of just the solo, you want to hear the whole song so that you can hear the solo, you want to hear Billy Corgan playing it live, or just anyone playing it live. You really need to be more specific when saying something like that.

Yeah, I know "Cherub Rock" is on the soundtrack for Guitar Hero III--that's going to be awesome. That'll mark the first time that I'll play a Guitar Hero that I actually know how to play on the real guitar. It'll be strange, I think.

As far as the Weezer songs, I think the game only includes "My Name Is Jonas," at least according to the Wikipedia page. It's also going to include "Even Flow" by Pearl Jam, "One" by Metallica, and "Paint it, Black" by the Stones, so I pretty much thing it's going to be the best game in the series so far.
