umber five was the biggest douche. Awesome.

Now, by request, the new poll asks who you think the best Simpsons voice actor is. I omitted both Yeardley Smith and Nancy Cartwright because they each only do one character (if you count Marge and all of her relatives as one character, which, vocally, I do).

Anyway, my vote goes to Hank Azaria, mostly because of Bumblebee Man.

You forgot that Hank Azaria does Lou, which is a great impersonation of Stallone... you just don't think of it as Stallone because its coming out of a black cop.

With that said, I went Harry Shearer because its rare that Azaria's characters interact in the same dialogue. Burns/Smithers and Lovejoy/Flanders do scenes together all the time.

Wow... that's when you post one of these things at 3am. Julie Kavner does Marge and her family, and she's excluded. And I did include Nancy Cartwright in the poll. As for Yeardley Smith, she does do only one character--Lisa--and isn't that great.

This is a tough call. I mean, those are some brilliant motherfuckers. I think that Mr Burns has the hands-down best voice on the show. But most of Harry Shearer's characters sound more or less like Harry Shearer. So I vote Dan Castellaneta because he does so damn many characters, and for the most part they sound really different. i love the "squeaky voiced teen", mayor quimby, and krusty's varoius sounds of disgust.

right now i am so sad to live so far away from syndicated TV.

Nancy Cartwright also does the voice of Ralph Wiggum, who is my favorite supporting character. I'd probably say that she is my favorite, but, if she is disqualified, then I would choose Harry Shearer, who does Mr. Burns, Smithers, Rev. Lovejoy, Otto and Principal Skinner.

sorry i didn't mean to be snippy i am just super obsessed with simpsons....it's like if i said d'arcy played drums you'd correct my ass in a heart beat. i vote for dan even though hanks range seems larger, dan has a great singing voice and from what i have heard in the dvd commentary a lot of jokes come from him improvising.
