Redesign?

'm thinking of changing the look of the blog. Not the layout or the interface or anything, just the look. Specifically, I'm thinking of changing the graphics so that they're more in line with the header and profile graphics here.

What do you think?

The header graphics remind me of Unsolved Mysteries or some A&E special on the secrets of the Maya. So, unless you're going to unearth some ancient crystal skull or something, I'm not down with this particular prospective design scheme.

I know I'm a little late to the party on this, but unless your new blog theme is "Haunted Constitution," I like it the way it is. Also, I second Honest Abe on the stove-pipe hat - especially if you go with the new look and my proposed posting theme.

Ok, ok, I see where everyone's coming from on this. I'll update the profile picture but keep the same font and style as the current one. That means, Honest Abe, that the top hat is gone. At least for now. But it's ok--I'll try to find some way to replace that with a picture of me in my skirt.

But what I thought was hilarious was the "Haunted Constitution" comment. It never occurred to me that that's what I was doing. I just wanted something that would look both old school and future-y. So that's why I went with that font and the little curly thing. But then I failed utterly at making something look futuristic rather than haunted or new age. So, lesson learned.
